On Thursday 20 March 2025 Slough Borough Council signed their Armed Forces Covenant.
The Armed Forces Covenant was signed by Cllr Dexter Smith, Leader of the Council; Cllr Neel Rana, Armed Forces Champion for Slough Borough Council and Wg Cdr Stephen Fry, SO1 Reserves Strategy Plans Projects from RAF Northolt.
Since signing the Community Covenant in 2013, the council wanted to update their ongoing support for the Armed Forces Community in Slough. Cllr Dexter Smith, Leader of the Council spoke of their responsibilities as a governing body to look after the families of serving members of the Armed Forces and Veterans within their community.
