HM Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey, Michael More-Molyneux, visited Surrey Army Cadet Force’s annual camp on Wednesday 5th August, taking the opportunity to meet cadets and see some of the training and activities taking place.
During his visit, the Lord Lieutenant had the opportunity to see the cadets in action and get a feel for life at annual camp. He spent time chatting with some of the younger cadets as they took part in their training, finding out more about what they were learning and enjoying during camp.
He also caught up with several of the senior cadets, hearing about their experiences and opportunities they have enjoyed throughout their time with the Army Cadet Force.
The visit provided an excellent opportunity to showcase the dedication, enthusiasm and commitment of the cadets and staff, as well as the wide range of opportunities available through the organisation.
As a gesture of appreciation for his continued support of Surrey Army Cadet Force throughout his time as Lord Lieutenant, the Surrey ACF Commandant, Colonel Mike Doyle, presented him with a small gift.
