The annual Summer camps are undoubtedly the highlight of the Cadet year and so we were delighted to attend a day at the Combined Cadet Force camp currently underway at St Martins Plain, run by Army Headquarters South East.
Cadets from all CCFs from across the South East have the opportunity to attend this camp and take part in:
- Adventure training – Water and land based.
- Fieldcraft – TIBUA, Ambush, Advance to Contact and Footsteps.
- In camp training. – Escape rooms, DCCT, Clay Pigeon, Engagement.
Keep an eye out on our social media channels for a video montage of the day!

CCF units in schools give young people the life skills and self-confidence to take charge of their lives so they can reach their full potential at school and beyond, including in employment. Each CCF is formed of sections from one or more of the Royal Navy/Royal Marines, Army or the Royal Air Force.
