In November 2022 South East Reserve Forces and Cadet Association agreed to help with the funding to re-establish the Corps of Drums within the Royal County of Berkshire Army Cadets Force (ACF).
As a result, the ACF was able to hold its first Band and Corps of Drums Concentration last weekend (18th & 19th February 2023)
It was a great turn out with some good progress towards having a sustainable Corps of Drums in Berks again.
The weekend was a case of some revision for those Cadets who attended Longmoor Annual Band Camp and a round robin for the 10 new Cadets. As you can see they formed up for a bit of drill to give them a feel of how its done whilst carrying an instrument!
