INTRODUCTION: – Group Captain Keith Lane RAF (Retd), Chief of Staff & Head of Engagement, South East Reserve Forces’ & Cadets’ Association
It might be the end of the series of Armed Forces Briefings the start of the summer holidays and the first of the annual cadet camps, but on the 21st July we were able to formally recognise 16 organisations from the South East that have been awarded Gold status within the Employer Recognition Scheme. Added to our 33 successful silver awards that were announced in June, the South East can now boast 161 Silver and 154 Gold employers.
Amongst this amazing group of employers who have made tangible efforts to support the Reserves, Cadet Forces and wider military family are organisations such as the Ordnance Survey, PTSD Resolution, South East Coast Ambulance, a1 Print Services and Brighton & Hove City Council; the full list of successful golds is at the following link.
In September, we will be celebrating the Silver awards at Admiralty House, the official residence of the 2nd Sea Lord within HMNB Portsmouth and the Gold awards at the Army Air Corps Museum Middle Wallop. We are delighted to be working with such fantastic supporters and advocates for Defence and look forward to developing these vital relationships.
