On Saturday 9th November, the SERFCA Engagement Team supported the Milton Keynes Dons Armed Forces Match Day event, run by the Milton Keynes Armed Forces Liaison Group.
Attendees, which included the Mayor of Milton Keynes and the Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, heard from Milton Keynes City Council, Milton Keynes Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, SERFCA and Mission Community about the purpose of the Armed Forces Covenant and the Employer Recognition Scheme in Milton Keynes, as well as the work that has been done to support the local Armed Forces Community.
Three organisations; Aero Tec Laboratories, FormaServe Systems and Hazeltree Housing, also pledged their support by signing the Armed Forces Covenant at the event, supported by Lieutenant Colonel Thao Nguyen, SO1 Med Reserves from Regional Command.
