On Tuesday 3rd June 2025 The Executive Officer for the Royal County of Berkshire Army Cadet Force, Eamonn Coogan MBE as part of South East Reserve Forces and Cadet Association commitment to Community Engagement volunteered and was involved in coaching the employees of the future at Oakbank School, Hyde End Ln, Reading.
80 mock interviews were conducted for their Year 10s students with each interviewer conducting 4 interviews.
The interviewer came from all sections of the community within Berkshire including VM02, Ericsson, Oracle, Places Leisure, Woodley Business Club, parents and our representative from the Reserve Forces and Cadet Association.
Representing 12 industries, many more roles, and countless tips to help the students grow in confidence with the interview process ready for taking their next step post GCSE.
Berkshire Professional Support Staff will also be running a week long work experience session at Brock Barracks at the beginning of July again supporting the youth of Berkshire.
