Celebrating Minden Day with Surrey Army Cadet Force

On Tuesday 1st August 2023, the armed forces community came together to honour the courage, dedication, and legacy of our brave soldiers who fought valiantly in the Battle of Minden on this day in 1759. Surrey PWRR Battalion Army Cadet Force (ACF) commemorated this historic occasion, instilling in our young cadets the values of service, discipline, and honour.

Minden Day is not just about remembering the past; it’s about embracing the present and shaping the future. Our cadets exemplify the best of our nation, as they learn essential life skills, leadership, and teamwork through their experiences in the ACF.

Let us take a moment to express our gratitude to the officers, instructors, and volunteers who passionately dedicate their time and efforts to shape the next generation of leaders. Their commitment empowers our youth and inspires them to become responsible, confident, and compassionate individuals.

To all our cadets: on this day, we celebrated YOU! Your unwavering spirit and commitment to serving your community and country make us proud beyond measure. As you learn and grow within the ACF, remember that you are part of a strong, supportive family, united by the values of honour, respect, and courage.

We invite everyone to join us in celebrating Minden Day and recognizing the tremendous impact the Army Cadet Force has on the lives of our young cadets. Together, let’s continue fostering a future generation that embodies the true essence of service and leadership.
