Cadet Administrative Assistant

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Army Cadet Force, Winchester

General Description:

1. The CAA is a full time employee of the RFCA and is responsible to the CEO for all administrative and G4 matters within his allocated Area/Detachments.

2. The CAA is required to serve in the ACF and may be appointed to a commission as a Lieutenant or enrolled as an Adult Instructor at the discretion of the RFCA. If commissioned, CAAs may only be promoted to the paid acting rank of Captain in exceptional circumstances and for specific periods of time. For AC service, CAAs are entitled to receive a voluntary allowance.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £29,100 a year

Requirements

  • Full driving licence
  • DBS check will be carried out

Commandant – Buckinghamshire Army Cadet Force (ACF)

There is a forthcoming vacancy for a Commandant within Buckinghamshire ACF. The normal place of duty for this post will be at Army Reserve Centre, Oxford Road, Aylesbury, Bucks HP19 8RN

Role
The post of Commandant is a voluntary appointment. However, the successful applicant will receive remuneration appropriate to the rank of Colonel as per the current Volunteer Allowance regulations currently up to 28 days, although it is acknowledged that the appointment will require considerably more time. In addition, payment for residence to place of duty and motor mileage allowances may be claimed when on official ACF duty.
