The Royal County of Berkshire & Surrey Armed Forces’ Briefing 2026

On Tuesday 2 June 2026, we hosted the first of 5 Armed Forces Briefings happening around the South East this month.

We were delighted to welcome over 100 guests to the prestigious Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. The only tri-Service event of its kind in the region, the briefing provided a comprehensive update from the British Army, Royal Navy, and Royal Air Force. Valuable insights into current defence priorities and initiatives were given, as well as an overview into the new Armed Forces Bill 2026. The briefings intend to both educate as well as strengthen the vital connection between the Armed Forces and the wider community.

A sincere thank you goes to everyone who attended, and to the Reserve and Cadet units for their help.

A special highlight of the evening was our opportunity to recognise Michael More-Molyneux for his committed time as Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey.
