Army Engagement Events to Inspire Young People Across the South East
Education professionals across the South East are invited to attend a series of free Army Engagement Events taking place between 13 and 29 January 2026. Designed specifically for teachers, school leaders, career advisors and those working directly with young people, the events offer a unique opportunity to explore how the British Army supports education, development and career pathways.
Hosted by Headquarters South East (HQ SE) and the Army Engagement Group (AEG), the sessions will provide insight into the Army’s work with schools, youth groups and communities, as well as the wide range of opportunities available to young people. Attendees will also have the chance to meet local soldiers, speak with engagement specialists and discover resources that can help build confidence, resilience and aspiration in students.
Over the last year, the HQ SE Engagement Team has worked with more than 15,000 young people, delivering hands-on activities, challenge days and inspiring visits that bring Army opportunities to life.
