The Kent Lord-Lieutenant Awards 2025

A spectacular evening for number 5 of our 7 Lord-Lieutenant awards this year!

On Thursday 23rd October we were at a new venue for us, the prestigious Tonbridge School, for His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Kent Awards.

The Lord-Lieutenant, The Lady Bella Colgrain, awarded 13 Meritorious Service Certificates and a Ulysses Trust CFAV Award.

The Best Reservist award was also sponsored and presented by RIFT Group.

Lady Colgrain also appointed her 10 new Lord-Lieutenant Cadets for the coming year with Cadets from the Combined Cadet Force, Sea Cadet Corps, Army Cadet Force, Royal Air Force Air Cadets, Volunteer Police Cadets and Fire Cadets.

The Lord-Lieutenant awards ceremony is a formal and prestigious event; recognising individuals who demonstrate the volunteer ethos and to build and nurture the enduring relationships that are so important to your County and local community. This is done through the awarding of Medals and His Majesty Lord-Lieutenant’s Certificates for Meritorious Service, amongst other awards.  His Majesty Lord-Lieutenant’s Certificates for Meritorious Service were instituted in order to afford public recognition to those members of the Reserve and Cadet Forces whose efforts are not recognised by the twice yearly Honours Lists.
